Digital Marketing Strategist

The Marketing Strategist is responsible for executing and implementing social media and digital content across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have exceptional verbal and communication skills, be an excellent writer, and be able to develop and maintain a tone of voice for multiple brands and social platforms.

The Marketing Strategist will lead the strategy and execution on social media and digital content effort aimed at building brand awareness and product education to our consumers. The successful candidate will exhibit the ability to write engaging content for social media and email marketing with careful attention to detail being critical. The successful candidate will also manage Google Adwords/Google Analytics and put together reports. We are looking for someone who is creative, team oriented, customer focused and will have the ability to organize, set priorities, and manage several projects at once, with minimal supervision.

This is a part time position with the ability to work from home on occasion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategy and best practices across various platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Wordpress, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.)
  • Develop email marketing campaigns/newsletters for company and clients
  • Understanding of Active Campaign and Constant Contact for Email Marketing and Newsletters
  • Manage Marketing Campaigns through our CRM application which will include setting up landing pages through the landing page builder, designing email drip campaigns and monitoring the analytics reports.
  • Manage Google Adwords/Google Analytics. Put together reports for clients each month
  • Develop influencer/advocate programs and maintain relationships
  • Manage company brand online by responding to reviews posted (e.g. Google +, Facebook, Yelp, Yellow Pages, etc.)
  • Ensure that campaigns meet marketing objectives
  • Interface daily with brand leadership, analytics and creative team members

Requirements

  • Must be working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing
  • 1-2 years of marketing, public relations or corporate communications experience, with min 1 year of direct social media experience
  • Proven success in launching and executing social media campaigns
  • Understanding of Photoshop, Google Adwords/Google Analytics a plus
  • Understanding of Active Campaign and Constant Contact a plus
