Job Description: 

We are looking for an organized sales and marketing consultant to develop sales strategies and attract new clients for our marketing company. The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and close sales. The candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing the sales of our marketing solutions. As a sales and marketing consultant, you will be responsible for upselling the marketing solutions that our company has to offer. To be successful in this position, you should have strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills. 

Responsibilities

• Promoting the company’s existing brands and identifying opportunities for businesses
• Use various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations, networking) to identify new opportunities
• Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
• Evaluate client needs based on their company goals
• Maintaining relationships with clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
• Meet personal and team sales targets
• Research accounts and generate and follow through on sales leads
• Attend meeting, sales events and trainings to keep up to date on the latest developments in marketing
• Report and provide feedback to management on status of clients, sales and projected close dates

Requirements

• Proven sales experience
• Understanding of marketing and the impact it has on businesses
• Track record of meeting yearly sales goals
• Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
• Computer use competency
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Self motivated and driven
